In June 2002 Council adopted a verge development policy that relates to the area of land between a road edge and the adjacent property boundary. The policy was developed to ensure that street verges within the City of Rockingham are developed to an appropriate and consistent standard with due regard to aesthetics and public safety.
See the Street Verge Development Policy or contact the City of Rockingham for further information.
For all reporting of bee nests on Council property please contact the City Depot.
Residents may be eligible for a reimbursement of the costs of installing a crossover to their property for the first time. Currently the City may reimburse 50% of the cost of a single width concrete crossover at a rate established by the City on commercial construction rates, if the crossover complies with the City's Crossover Specifications.
