About Photovoice
The City of Rockingham in conjunction with Healthway and local business PhotoCoffee, are involved in the amateur community Act-Belong-Commit PhotoVoice digital photography competition.
The concept of PhotoVoice involves participants taking photos under a particular theme, in this case Act-Belong-Commit, and then including a sentence or short paragraph explaining the photo; this gives the photo a ‘voice’.
All amateur photographers in the community are encouraged to submit entries. Selected entries are printed, framed and displayed at a public exhibition at the Gary Holland Community Centre, on the Rockingham Waterfront Village, and exhibited for 3 weeks.
There are eleven prize categories awarded including cash prizes vouchers and merchandise packs.
There are two ways to enter the competition:
1. Online Submission Form
2. By Hand to PhotoCoffee, 15/9 Kent Street, Rockingham
We’re looking forward to receiving your entries and seeing how individuals in Rockingham stay mentally healthy!
