Storm Event Update Clean Up Effort

The clean up from this week’s two damaging storm fronts is now well underway with interstate and local SES volunteers, Defence and Police Personnel and Local Government Officers assisting with property repairs and debris clearing.
The City thanks all of those who committed their time and resources to assist with the storm response and considerable clean up and repair work.
No additional waste collections will be provided by the City for private property. We are concentrating on clearing public parks and median verges. There are currently scheduled Greenwaste verge collections taking place in Secret Harbour and from Monday 18 June will commence in Singleton, Golden Bay, Karnup, East Warnbro, Settlers Hills and Baldivis.
All Greenwaste verge collections are limited to two 6x4 trailer-loads or the equivalent of two cubic metres. Residents may also bring green waste and debris to the Millar Road Landfill facility, Millar road West, Baldivis (fee payable) between 7.30am to 4pm telephone 9528 8550 for more information.
