Rates Prize Draw Congratulations to Winners

City of Rockingham Mayor, Barry Sammels congratulated the 12 winners of this year’s rate’s prize draw at a special presentation on Thursday 6 October last week. Each winner was presented with a $500 cheque for paying their rates in full by the 22 August due date.
This year 17, 200 of 45,300 ratepayers paid their rates in full by the due date, an increase of 1,480 since last year.
Mayor Sammels said: “I would like to congratulate L and P Johnson, W Hill, P Sattell, M Keenor, VL Impson, Avatar Property, C Jones, D and R Hayes, D and M Carter, M and P Bender, L Goodwin, S Palmer and HJ Wainright on their win this year.
“Thank you also to generous sponsors Bendigo Bank and NAB for donating cash prizes for winners an supporting the competition.”
