Work experience program
The City's work experience program gives students the chance to gain invaluable on the job experience in areas of interest to them. Work experience can be available for:
- Secondary school students
- University students
- Anyone looking to further their experiences in a diverse organisation.
All work experience placements are unpaid and students can only be placed when, or if, the opportunity in their area of interest arises.
To apply for the City’s work experience program you are required to provide the following information:
- Letter outlining your area of interest and the length and type of placement requested
- Any official documentation from your school or educational institution, including insurance paperwork.
Forward this information to the Human Resources team via jobs@rockingham.wa.gov.au and you will be contacted should a relevant placement be available.
