Skateparks and BMX
Aside from providing playgrounds in Parks throughout the City, Council has also recognised the popularity of skateboarding, BMX and in-lining. Seven (7) purpose built facilities are available for this purpose in the City of Rockingham:
- Rocko Skatepark at the Rockingham PCYC, Smythe St, Rockingham, Tel. (08) 9592 1232. Regional facility - FREE entry.
- Singleton "Oasis" Skatepark, Laurie Stanford Reserve, Cavender St, Singleton. Free local skate facility.
- Port Kennedy Skatepark, Veteran's Memorial Park, Endeavour Drv, Port Kennedy. Free local skate facility.
- Cooloongup Skatepark, Alf Powell Reserve, cnr Wilmott & Grange Drives. Free local skate facility.
- Hillman Skate Zone, off Unnaro St beside the Hillman Hall and Primary School. Free local skate facility.
- Secret Harbour Skatepark, Foreshore Reserve, Palermo Cove. Free local skate facility.
- Golden Bay Daniel Kelly Memorial Skatepark, Tangadee Road. Free local skate facility.
