Where are the libraries located?

The City of Rockingham Information and Library Service has 3 convenient locations for residents to use:

  1. Rockingham Regional Campus Community Library (combined Public/Murdoch University/Challenger TAFE Library)
    Dixon Rd, Rockingham, 6168.
  2. Safety Bay Library

  3. Warnbro Community Library (combined Public/Warnbro Community High School Library)

Computer, email and Internet training sessions.

Services for Children and Young Adults

Children's storytime, school holiday activities, Better Beginnings family literacy programme, Book Star Clubs for primary aged children, Rhyme Time (for children 0-2 years). Class visits are also welcome.

Book Clubs for Adults

For more information on this service, please contact library staff.

Services for Seniors

Large print books, special events, Seniors Online Club and computer/Internet training.

Housebound Service

For people unable to visit a library contact the Rockingham Home Support Service on 9528 2777.

Other Services/Facilities

Printing, faxing, photocopying, laminating, paperback exchange, meeting rooms and quiet study areas.

Please note: not all these services/resources are available in all three libraries.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to join the library?

You will need to show a form of identification (preferably with a photo) which shows your current address. Once you have successfully joined you can use all three Rockingham libraries.

How many items can I borrow?

You can borrow a maximum of 10 items at any one time.

How long can I borrow items for?

Items can be borrowed for a maximum of four weeks.

Do I need to make a booking to use a computer?

Yes, a booking can be made by telephone or in person.

What time is Storytime?

Storytime consists of songs, rhymes, stories and crafts, is suitable for 2 - 5 year olds and is held at the following locations:

Rockingham Regional Library - 10am on Wednesdays

Safety Bay Library - 10.30am on Tuesdays

Warnbro Community Library - 10.30am on Tuesdays and Fridays

Can I access the Internet?

Yes, Internet access is free.

Can I renew and request items via the Internet?
