The Department of Sport & Recreation have taken a proven high performing product and made it even better. You may have already seen some of our Club Development Booklets and taken advantage of the generous tips found inside the 14 original topics. The great news is that we have added another 15 new and very relevant topics.
A few short steps to use the booklets effectively:
1. Visit the booklets at http://www.dsr.wa.gov.au/
2. Email the link to this webpage to the relevant people in your club.
3. In a few weeks ask them if the booklets were useful and how your club can use the information.

Council acknowledges the significant role that Clubs play in enhancing the health and wellbeing of the Rockingham community. In 2005 approximately fifty (50) key sport and recreation Clubs were invited to become ROC-Kreation Smart Clubs.
The checklist below was designed for the mutual benefit of Council and Clubs in order to progress the management and planned development of sustainable, accessible "better" safer and smarter sport and recreation people, places and networks in our City.
Most questions ask Clubs to simply tick a box and/or complete details that should be "to hand" and answered in less than 30 minutes if undertaken as part of a management committee meeting. A ROC-Kreation Smart Clubs Seminar was conducted to discuss the checklist and clarify any questions the Club may have.
The information submitted is assisting in guiding Council's decision making, in particular the allocation of funds to sport and recreation projects and services that encourage greater community participation and physical activity.
A copy of the Checklist 2005 is available for Clubs to consider.
