Local Emergency Management Committee (LEMC)

The City of Rockingham has an active Local Emergency Management Committee (LEMC) comprising of representatives from the City, Local Police, Department of Environment and Conservation, Department of Health, FESA, Red Cross, Fire & Rescue Services, SES, Bushfire Brigades and St John Ambulance to ensure the safety of our community.

The LEMC meets quarterly to discuss how emergency services and support organisations in the City can prevent emergencies from occurring, preparation in the event of any emergency and how to assist the community to recover from such an event.
