Autumn Centre
The Autumn Centre offers a focal point for older people in the community to socialise, create supportive networks and pursue personal interests.
Funded by the City of Rockingham, the Autumn Centre and has been steadily increasing in membership over the last 4 years.
Who is eligible to join?
The Autumn Centre is open to :

People (and their partners) who are over 50 years old
-
People with disabilities (and carers) who are over 18 years of age.
How much does it cost?
The Autumn Centre has a membership fee of $34 per annum with a pro rata for new members reduced quarterly. Casual attendance is also available with the payment of a small daily fee.
What can you do at the Autumn Centre?
A range of services are available including:

Lunch from Monday to Friday for up to 140 people a day

Facilities to support groups like "Grandcare" for Grandparent carers and a Cancer Support Group

Guest speakers and information sessions on a range of issues including safety, rangers, advocacy, and health promotion topics such as "Stay on your feet".

Offers 40 different leisure, educational and interest activities, including:

Volunteering opportunities
The Autumn Centre relies heavily on volunteers and is an excellent opportunity for community members to participate in a worthwhile program. To find out more call 08 9528 8560.
Bus service to Autumn Centre
A bus service is available for members on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8.30am to 10.30am. This is a door to door service to the Autumn Centre. The bus then leaves the Autumn Centre at 3.30pm to drop members back to their homes. Conditions apply. To find out more or to book the bus service phone 08 9528 8560.
