City of Rockingham Childcare Centre
The City of Rockingham Childcare Centre is a childcare service with high quality status.
Qualified educators implement The Emergent Curriculum with a fully extensive program designed for children to learn and develop through their interests and strengths.
Educators are qualified and experienced, and provide a warm, safe, secure and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.
Services provided by the child care centre include:

Long Day Care Service: One (1) day per week care to full time care, accommodating for parents needing permanent child care

Occasional Day Care Service: For parents who need flexible childcare days and hours for a minimum of three (3) hours care, half days and full days

Meals: The Childcare Centre provides three (3) meals throughout the day, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
The Centre is open 52 weeks of the year, excluding public holidays, from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

City of Rockingham Out of School Hours Childcare service
The Rockingham Out of School Hours Childcare Service is a local service that provides a caring, child-focused environment for pre-primary and primary school children. The service provides age appropriate activities aimed at a child's enjoyment and development.

Monday to Friday 6:30am - 8:30am and 2:30pm - 6:00pm, during school terms excluding public holidays.
For further information on the Rockingham Out of School Hours Care Service or to enrol your child/ren, please contact the Centre Coordinator on (08) 9592 5372. Bookings can then be taken once the form has been completed and returned, original copies must be provided, along with copies of relevant information.
A copy of the enrolment form can be found below. PLEASE NOTE: The editable forms do not work correctly for MAC users, so would recommend printing off the form for completion.
City of Rockingham Out of School active holiday fun program
The active holiday fun program offers a large range of activities to children aged 5 - 12 years during school holiday periods and on pupil free days. The Active Holiday Fun Program promotes healthy eating habits and teaches life skills in a fun, child friendly environment.
The program has welcomed many community visitors such as Wildlife Rehabilitation, Navy, Advance Life Ambulance and Fire Brigade. Children have enjoyed incursions which have included kid’s sumo wrestling suits, Castle Rock musical experience, NAIDOC Celebrations, Belly Dancing and the State Emergency Services. Excursions from the Service have included Ice Skating, Baldivis Children’s Forest, Bowling, trips to the park and QZAR.
