Rockingham Northern Waterfront - Draft Development Policy Plan No.3.2.6 & Proposed Scheme Amendment No.129 to Town Planning Scheme No.2

The City has prepared a draft Development Policy Plan to guide the future redevelopment of the Rockingham Northern Waterfront, which is all the land bounded by Wanliss Street, Victoria Street, Paterson Road and the coast.

In March 2013, the Council resolved to seek public comment on the draft Policy, and to initiate a Scheme Amendment to introduce a new zone into its Town Planning Scheme, to be referred to as the 'Primary Centre City Living Zone', to give statutory effect to the draft Development Policy Plan.

The City has prepared similar Planning Policies for the land around the Rockingham Shopping Centre and City Offices, the Rockingham Waterfront Village and the former sporting grounds on Dixon Road.

Copies of the draft Policy and proposed Scheme Amendment are available to view via the links below.
